Civil Litigation Attorney Position Overview : We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. Key Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of civil litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents
Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and trial preparation
Maintain organized case files and meet court deadlines
Handle multiple cases with efficiency and attention to detail
Provide case evaluations and risk assessments to clients
Assist in negotiating settlements and resolving disputes effectively
Prepare witnesses and experts for depositions and trial testimony
Stay up to date on relevant case law and legal trends affecting practice areas
Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and ethical obligations
Qualifications :
Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience managing cases from inception to resolution
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Trial experience is a plus but not required
