Job Description

Position: MuleSoft Architect
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)

Type: Long Term Contract (3+ Years)

Experience: Min. 14 to 25 Years

*Could be a fulltime hire to client after 6 mos of contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.




Define integration patterns and reusable frameworks.




Oversee API deployment across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.




Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams.




Optimize performance and resolve issues during development/testing.




Implement API governance, security protocols, and documentation standards.




Mentor developers and ensure best practices are followed throughout the integration lifecycle.

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience in integration development/architecture.




5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Studio).




Strong proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, DataWeave, API lifecycle, and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven).




Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration protocols (JMS, FTP, SFTP).




Familiarity with integration of ERP/CRM systems like Salesforce or SAP.




Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred:

MuleSoft certifications (Developer, Integration Architect, Platform Architect).




Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, SAML, ETL tools, and enterprise integration patterns.
