Part-Time Boarding Kennel Attendant

Location: Pawz Away Pet Care 45 Apple Hill Lane Pottsville, PA 17901

Pay: Starting at $12/hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old

Do you love animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a responsible, animal-loving individual to join our team as a Part-Time Boarding Kennel Attendant .

Schedule Requirements:

• Available Weekday Shifts: Monday–Friday, between 3:00pm/4:00pm – 8:00pm/8:30pm
• Rotating Weekend Shifts:
• Morning: 6:30am – 1:00pm
• Evening: 3:00pm/4:00pm – 8:00pm

Responsibilities Include:

• Feeding, cleaning, and caring for dogs in our boarding facility
• Cleaning kennels, common areas, and play yards
• Monitoring animal health and behavior
• Providing plenty of TLC and playtime!
• Working closely with the rest of our team to ensure a clean, safe, and happy environment

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 17 years old
• Has reliable transportation
• Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Available to work rotating weekends and major holidays which may include Christmas, Thanksgiving etc.
• No experience required— we’ll train the right person!
